When you book our service

We offer 24/7 patient focussed non-emergency patient transport. Our hospital partners can access our services via integrated online booking and patient management system. Private or infrequent users can book via phone.

Your patient’s information is documented through a secure data collection platform and not shared with any other parties in compliance with the Victorian Health Records Act.

Our team prepare for your patient’s transport with a full briefing and the development of a considered route plan, with patient transports tracked at all times.

Tracking the transport

RFDS’ ‘Traegar’ transport management system offers customers an online booking and dispatch capability for timely and reliable transfer of information with hospital’ patient transport.

Traegar provides a 20 minute pre-arrival signal to the hospital to promote the preparation of the patient’s paperwork, gathering of belongings, and readiness for a timely handover.
