Our website is currently under maintenance, but it is business as usual for our RFDS Mobile Patient Care (MPC) Team.

MPC offers Non-Emergency Patient Transport primarily in Victoria and New South Wales. We work with a large fleet of ambulances and support our transport services with RFDS aircraft.

MPC provides clinical care for people traveling from home to hospital, hospital to hospital and hospital to home, as well as transport to and from specialist clinics. RFDS MPC contracts to public and private hospital groups to provide care to their patients while also providing staff and vehicles to support public ambulance services.

Our work frequently also involves providing pre-hospital care for people at home or in a community setting who have called 000. In these cases RFDS staff are assessing, treating and transporting patients with unplanned and urgent needs.

​​​​​​​MPC staff operate from branches located across Victoria and NSW and work 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
